I'm glad I'm not the only one collecting the new Clone Wars figures. I went to midnight madness at TRU and that was so crazy. There must have been 100 people there. I missed out on getting Capt. Rex. I'm going to look for him at some other stores. I thought that the mail in Rex was the same as in the stores, aparently not, so I didn't pick him up. Does anyone know if this is true or not?
Another one of my questions was what is in those clone gear boxes that come with the repackaged figures. Is something different in each box? I got in mine a huge lot of different clone blasters.

There seems to be three kinds of the new lots. A. Stuff from the movie without any added bonus B. Droid factory figures that each have a piece of a droid that can be built. and C. Repacks of older releases that have "clone gear". So I guess each of these have stuff to equip your clone army with. In your case you got blasters.

|sf>Meanwhile, I was thinking that the milk jug looks sweet. The jug is also the same general height as an Attacktix figure, so you could use it as a piller on your Attacktix playing field. Since it's Star Wars, it would even fit in thematically. ;D

Saw it with the Wife and son this afternoon. The visuals are great, the score overwhelming, and the plot would have been nice if so many lines from the movies weren't recycled, but it was fun. Stay for the end of the credits for a funny little short.

I have never been the biggest star wars fan by any means. But I have always enjoyed the movies and looked forward to the re-releases and the newer movies.... But theres just something about these clone wars... I have just never been so uninterested in a star wars movie. :\

Yes, quite satisfying especially considering this will segue into a TV series. I was diasppointed how they opened the movie with narration ( I swear the narrator's voice sounded like the PowerPuff Girls narrator/Professor) I wasn't so bothered by the Asoka Padawan as I thought I would be. It got better as it went along. Worth seeing! We didn't stay all the way through! Ugh!

But theres just something about these clone wars... I have just never been so uninterested in a star wars movie. :\ I know what you mean. Personally, I think it's because the topic of the Clone Wars has been used so many times. It was featured in two Star Wars prequels, 5 video games, a comic book, endless novels, a TV microseries, a television show, and now a movie and another television show. Really, it seems to me that they've milked this thing dry. I would have rather they expand upon other time periods in the Star Wars timeline, like the Old Republic or the formation of the Rebel Alliance. If they introduce something fresh and new and exciting, then it will totally draw my attention. But as it is now, I hear about the movie and I just think, "Oh, more Clone Wars. Okay". Also the CGI cartoon Yoda scares me.

Just got back from seeing it with the "kids", and we loved it. The story was good, the Battle Droids were hilarious, and I thought they kept the characters interesting. I was diasppointed how they opened the movie with narration ( I swear the narrator's voice sounded like the PowerPuff Girls narrator/Professor) Ha! That's funny, because when I heard that opening narration, I immediately thought of the narration that was in Starship Troopers! It was weird, but the movie quickly improved, so that's a very minor complaint.

It was alright. It wasn't the greatest thing ever but the actual fighting was good. Lets just say I wouldn't pay to go see it again. Good thing it will be on TV. I was hoping for more action with some of the minor Jedi.
