Some of you may have seen the exploding Grievous action figure in stores, but have your ever seen the Exploding Vader(#16)Well he doesent officaily explode but about the third time i swung at him with Yoda he exploded into 5 pieces. Head, upper torso, Lightsaber arm, other arm and the lower body half attached to base. As one might assume, I was quite dismayed. It is kinda cool but he cant strike for his life. Any ideas about what to do with him?
I have already thought of superglueing him togather and selling him on ebay or trading to some kid.

If you superglue it back together, make sure you use a super glue that works. I've tried a few, and the only one that seems to bind Attacktix plastics together is Wal-Mart's in-store brand, Mainstays Projects. If you look for it there, it's in the hardware section, *not* in the office supply section.
However, I doubt he'd go for much, either on eBay or in a trade. I'd suggest fixing him up for yourself and taking this one on the chin.

You could always write to Hasbro about it. I had a Grievous bodyguard that wouldn't work. I wrote to Hasbro and they sent me a shipping label to return the defective figure. They then shipped me a brand new booster pack as a replacement. You are not guaranteed to get the same figure but a new booster in trade for a broken figure isn't a bad deal.

Though it could be kinda cool to have an exploding Vader figure, particularly if you could figure out how to make his pieces all fly at your opponent!

I just went to Hasbro's web site and used their customer service application. However, I think it would probably be easier to call them directly instead of fooling around creating accounts and dealing with the submission process.

Not just THIS brand, but syringe EPOXY is a great glue tool for all toys and plastics. The two chemicals make a bond stronger than crazy glue. I even glued a Metal Chain to a Bowling Ball, and it stayed! But it is dangerous, mix carefully and apply with a toothpick for detailed items.

Wow. I'd never heard of this stuff; I might have to try it out, if I continue having Yoda problems. And the fact that you don't need to worry about the brand of this stuff is comforting; I've found that super glue performance varies drastically between brands. So much so that I bought 6 tubes of the Wal-Mart house brand super glue to keep me set for the next 5-10 years, just in case they change the formulation of it in the interim.

Well, I guess I can't say I can vouch for EVERY brand out there. But everytime I go to Home Depot, Walmart, local Hardware store, etc, I have bought a new kind and they ALL worked great. Some smell stronger than others (chemical smell) so I recomend opening windows or doing it outside, but aside from that, applying equal pressure on the syringe and mixing it well with a toothpick, always works fine for me. The color of the glue will NOT be clear, it will be yellowish, but it WILL hold better than the clear Krazy-type. I also love my hot glue gun, but for my NON-action figures if that makes sense. It is very easy to clean up excess Hot Glue, and it has a very clear color when it dries. But it won't hold up to a light saber attack
