BTW. Rules were STRICTLY enforced: This guy put his figure back into play without grinding first!

Looks like it was a good time. And I think the pic with the scout trooper is my favorite as well. I wonder how easy it was to use a striker and shoot with those gloves on? :\
Where did you guys get the shirts? Did you get them printed yourselves?

They were sent w/the tourney figures (as well as the hats) for us to run the tournament. Our hats said 'Transformer Attacktix' so we had some people asking lots of questions about their release date, etc. I was glad to see some positive buzz about that line cause the TF message boards are kinda negative about it coming out. Your battle boards were awesome BTW - I had three people personally ask me where we got them. Thanks again Malform! We saved them too.

I now regret not going. It was only on the other side of the continent. Oh well. So, did Hasbro run the tournament or did you Joe? I saw a lot of folks in Attacktix gear, were any of them Hasbro? Great work. Maybe I'll see you in Florida next year...not likely, but maybe. -Radar
PS, what did the contestants win?

All the pics of me are of me playing and i look pretty dorky, but I was having lots of fun!! Same with the pics of me (look for the guy playing an all-Jedi Knight team in Joe's gallery). Additionally, it looks like the job hunt has been a little too good to my waistline. I'll hopefully get back to burning off tons of calories revising my striking tutorials...or something else...yeah

I was just thinking and I know we all have stray missles *ricochetes etc.* I was wondering how that was handled....I mean with that big of a con...

I was just thinking and I know we all have stray missles *ricochetes etc.* I was wondering how that was handled....I mean with that big of a con... Actually, there were at least a few stray missiles that I don't think ever got found. I was fortunate that none of the missiles from my figures got lost, but they definitely flew across the convention floor. If I hadn't been so conscientious about finding them, I'm sure I could have lost a couple, too.

When Joe and I inventoried the figures we took to the con when we came home there was only ONE MISSING MISSILE! We couldn't believe it! So somehow we kept good track.
