Our current members list consists of the following. I am leaving the door open for a select few other individuals who haven't been on in a while, but I feel would be a great help to us.

Gentlemen, let's get started.


I would like to first speak a few things before we start.

1. Remember that any idea is a good idea. Just because it doesn't seem like it's a great idea, that doesn't mean it can't start a line of thinking that leads us to one.

2. Remember we are not trying to create a "super faction". We are simply trying to create balance. Some factions are in desperate need so they can become competitive (Wookies). Others are in great shape (Rebels) and may only require a little tweaking. So keep in mind let's not create something we'll turn around an regret.

3. We are going to move through each faction individually. So if there's some ideas you have about another faction, but it seems like it's going to be a while before we get there, write it down so you don't forget.

4. Let's respect each others comments.

5. Think outside the box. Don't fee like we have to stick with special that have already been made. Webhead showed us some new ones at Tix Con recently that made my head spin. Let's do the same here.

6. I've designated TBHTIOT as secretary. She will update our list of figures that we will be changing on the main page and any other "things" I find for her to do.



Order of business.

First I will list the figures from each faction along with all their stats.

Let's begin by voting first on which figures we would like to see changed. Keep your ideas to yourself at this point so we don't clog up things. This way we don't miss anybodies idea.

If there is another figures from a different faction such as Chewbacca who could be deemed a wookies as well, speak up and make a petition. If we get enough votes to incorporate this idea, then we'll include it into the new faction. I hope that makes sense.

We will then brain storm on ideas on how to fix the selected figures. Think of ideas on points, specials, effects, or maybe even something not even invented yet.

From there we will agree upon the changes and implement them onto our squads.

Don't feel like you must change your figures labels. I realize some figures are valuable and you may only have one of. So this is an alternate way you could play by simply using the figures and just keeping the newer updated stat sheet with you without physically changing anything.

Here is a list of all the Wookies we currently have, their stats, points, and specials. Go through this list and post on what figures you feel would benefit from a make-over. Then we will vote on which ones to fix. After wards we need to come up with ideas on how to fix. Points only? Special change?

This according to the JoeAttacktix stats.

I don't think I know of anyone who plays with Wookie Scouts much, simply because they are much too weak for a 20 pt figure. The first thing I would do would be to bump him down to 10 points. I mean, who in a competitive game would spend 20 points for a small base, small missile, and low percentage special power?

As for the Wookie Warrior, I like the special, but I'd still bump him down to 20 points. Special-wise, he's still not as powerful as say, Sabertooth, due to the lower percentage, but it certainly makes him more viable for shooter support for a Jedi team.

For the Wookie Captain, how about an effect (not a different special power) that lets you make an immediate Wookie shootback when he falls? I don't think it's unbalancing for him to do that, since he's still 30 points, and it fits my idea of wookies flying into their wookie rage as they see their battle captain fall.


Personally though, I think the main reason that the Wookies suffered as a faction was because they didn't have any 10 pointers. Bumping the scout down to 10 points would certainly allow for more versatility in an all-Wookie team.

The other problem I see with the Wookie Scout is his special. That needs to be fixed.

First, I submit that you should remove the text of the first post, first page and make it the 'rules of order' that you posted, as well as use that to post the final results. This makes it easy to find for us and easy to update by you and/or Carmen.

Second, my thoughts are that since we can't change the % of the powers as they're mechanically set, we can only change the outcome. That being said, I propose we change the following:

Wookie Trooper (Trooper) 10 pts (small missile) Recover (23%)
\\Reason: This would make them far more valuable and cheaper to use. Changed name to Trooper to be akin to Clone Troopers.
Wookie Commando (SPECIALIST) 20 pts (large missile) Rescue - Wookie (31%)
\\Reason: This makes the figure more "Commando" since he's a specialist, and commando's are good at escaping, so he should escape death 31% of the time.
Wookie Captain (Captain) 20 pts (large missile) Rally- 2 x Trooper (38%)
\\Reason: He's a Captain, so he should be able to bring 2 Troopers back as he's a leader. Not forcing to Rally Wookiees allows more interaction with other Trooper factions. He should also be 20 since a clone Captain is 20. The Commanders (A higher rank) are 30 pointers for Clones.

I also want to change another:
Wookie Warrior (Warrior) 30 pts (large missile) Recover-Jedi in play (38%) TO
Wookie Commander (Warrior) 30 pts (large missile) Recover-Jedi in play (38%)
//Reason: The Clones have Captains and Commanders, so why not the Wooks?

I like your ideas S.F.

I played a game by only changing a couple of figures.

I changed the Wookie Warrior (Recover-Jedi) to 20 points. I also changed the Wookie Scout to 10 points and made his special Evade. This little bit made a HUGE difference in the out come of the game.

I played with 2 OWK in the game on the same squade.

You know, I think I like that better with the Evade. It makes more sense in a way, and it parallels the Ewoks since Wicket has 23% Evade.

First off, thanks for the suggestion on the first post SF. Secondly, I want to reiterate my belief that each faction should be able to stand alone, without additions from other factions. That is my goal with this.

Wookie Scout--10points--evade

Wookie Commando --This is the only wookie with rally, so it would be nice to keep it, but I do like SF idea and in line with that, I would like to throw out infiltrate as an alternative

Tarfful (percentage is too low IMO, so something should change, I just am not sure what)

Wookie Commando -- Attackback x2

Wookie Warrior --20 points

I thought the Wookie Captain could stay as is... I would like to hear your reason for changing him. (maybe regroup?)

I like the idea of one of the Wookies having Wookie Rage... Attackback ALL. (Maybe Tarfful?)

I don't think we should change the names of the figures or change every single one of them... I feel we should keep it as simple as we can, while still making all figures in the faction playable.

I thought we were supposed to just list the wookies we wanted fixed, not how to fix them yet. Or is this just the order of voting?

I think I'm Ok with the Wookiee Captain, but the Wookiee Scout and the Wookiee Commando (31% rally) both need some help.

The other Wookiee Commando has an Attackback-leader ability, I think it may help if this other Commando were a leader.

I think something we will need to keep in mind while doing this is the percieved value of any given figure. For instance, I think it would be great to have a new Yoda that we decide a new special for, but I'm not going to be putting stickers on my S1 Yoda. I bring this up now because I think one of the Wookiee Commandos were exclusive to a S1 Starter set.
