How Much:
$2 at the door.
Main 2 Torunaments: $10
Mega Tournament: Included in entry fee
100pt Tournament: Included in entry fee
Booster Pack Showdown: Bring 2 unopened series 4 boosters(everyone recieves 2 boosters to keep)
Pink Slip Tournament: 1 Super Rare that you must use in the tourney

The Games:
There are 2 events that will be included in the entry fee:

The first will be a single elimination 100pt tournament.
Prize T6 Boba Fett

Booster pack showdown
In the booster pack showdown you choose 2 unopened S4 boosters from a pile and these four figures are what you use for the tourney (at the end you get to keep your team). Everyone plays and the winner gets... peace of mind, or i may have some extra prizes left.

Rules:(for the "main events")
These will be two single elimination tournaments (red & blue). We will be following Hasbro's standard tournament rules. The only special rules for this tourney are:

200 pt matches

Limit of 5 figures numbered 1-6 (any series, excluding Golds) -
I was goin to say commons but in series 4 the rares are about equal to the commons of the other series. Golds, though they are numbered under 6, will not be covered by this catagory.

Limit 2 figures numbered higher than 6 (any series, this will include all Golds) -
This will keep people, like me, from bringin out an army of KAMs, but still allow doubling up on your favorite guys.

Prizes:
1st Place: T6-T10
2nd Place: T7 Luke Skywalker
3rd Place: T10 Stormtrooper

Webhead will be bringing some Marvel Attacktix for all to see. Also he will be doing some "Gunslinging". Everyone who comes to Toa will get a chance to play Webhead, and if you win you walk away with 1 super rare, chrome, or tournament edition figure.

I would like this event to be all that it can, I have allot of ideas for thing that will make it more than just the tournament, but an event.

hhmm.... According to mapquest Utica is a 2 hours, 57 minutes drive for me. Planning this trip, especially sense school will be in at that time of the year, could be tricky.

Dont count me out though, Ill more than likely make it there. ;D

Let me know what it is that you would like to see at the tourney, and I'll take the best ideas and try to make them work. Heres what I'm planning so far.

I was thinking of doing one main double elimination tournament with 200 pt teams, and 2 side tournaments (more for fun).

The first of the two would be a single elimination 100pt tournament, what i was thinking to enter this one you would have to offer one super rare from your team, winner takes all (or maybe winner takes most second gets to keep theirs and gets one other and third just gets to keep theirs).

The other side tourney would be what I'm calling a booster pack showdown (this one will cost more, like $12 to play in). In the booster pack showdown you choose 2 unopened S4 boosters from a pile and these four figures are what you use for the tourney (at the end you get to keep your team). Everyone plays and the winner gets like a S4 booster or somthing. I thought this could be fun cuz you'd have to adapt to your team, and it would kind of be by chance what team won.

Let me know if you would like to particapate in any of these, cuz if no one like the ideas than we won't do them.

I really like your ideas for the side tournaments... The random booster thing is a great idea - just grab a team and go! That should be a lot of fun.

Having the main tournament be double elimination is a nice idea for those (like me) that would have to drive a ways to get there in case you lost right away or something.

I'm not sure if I'd be able to make it up, but will work on it! I'll know more when a date is picked.

The Tuskens would certainly like a re-match against the Gold KAMs!

A rematch they shall have! It would be cool to get some of you guys from the ohio tourney up for this, I'm glad you like the ideas.

I'll probably be there now man. My so-called-partner in Colorado is lagging on signing the deal and I have to get my kid in Kindergarten..We're likely going to buy a house somewhere around here and stay for a while.

Is this going to be a Star Wars only tourney again?

Thats cool man, I think it will be star wars only but that doesn't mean people can't bring what they want and have side games.

Why do we keep blocking transformers?

I just dont see why it matters if I shoot you with a little plastic bullet from a clone trooper, or the same little plastic bullet from a decepticlone.

I think it has been because they aren't available to everyone yet (though its not much of a reason).

But if thats what people want to do than its fine with me (allowing transformers, that is)

OK:
1. Need to have it open to transformers AND Star Wars, by public demand. The reason I left the TFs out is that they unbalance the game; Boba Fett (as well as a lot of others') powers become null as they effect SW characters. It would be nice if S4 Boba Fett said "Capture a Rebel or Decepticon..." but oh well.
2. Side matches are a must; I favor pink-slip matches, but I can see someone getting ugly about losing their yodas (Malform! ;D ) if they were silly enough to gamble with them.
3. I made a trophy, and SO YOU HAVE TO TOO! :)

LOL
