I really can't see why he would be constituted as a Bounty Hunter. Doesn't make sense for Lando.

What's up with The Emperor and Kit firing blaster bolts FROM THEIR HANDS?! Or from their sleeves, in Kit's case. What's up with that? And all of the launchers (except The Emperor and Dengar) have small missiles! I'm not so sure 'bout this series, still no Megas, either. Sorry, guys, I don't think this series is much of an improvement to my army... Few of the figs have decent firepower compared to the other series'. :-/

Hasbro is notorious for not having the proper projectiles loaded into the launchers when they hsoot their promotional Attacktix pictures. Thus, I'm guessing that Kit and Emperor will actually be Force blasters, and that at least some of the Bounty Hunters will have large missiles (for example, all of the promo pictures of the Han Solo mold in S2 had him with a small missile, but that same mold has sported a large missile for the past three series). Because Hasbro hasn't released any lame 30-pointer-with-small-missiles since S2, I'd bet that any 30 point figure or above that has a small missile will actually have a medium one.

Some neat new figures, Gamorrean Guard, Ponda Boba, Zuckuss, Dengar, R5-D4, Lando, but Hasbro never ceases to upset me. As much as I wanted to see a Qui-Gon, why in the world did they have to reuse the crappy Darth Vader in a hood sculpt? Or put a Plo Koon head on the Agen Kolar/Jedi Khight Sculpt? Or an Emperor head on a Palpatine body? Or a Kit Fisto head on a Mace Windu Shooter? And most disgusting of all, the Holographic Yoda. I do not remember Yoda having a lightsaber when he was a hologram. Even though it irks me, I am highly pleased with the set and will collect every one of them.

In the words of my 3 year old "Qui-Gon has a green light saber not a blue light saber." I am happy to see a new Star Wars series with some key missing figures, but what's with all of the rehashed figures? Lots of cost cutting, I guess.

Lets review the line based on the pictures and descriptions:

1-Hoth Soldier--a 10pt trooper with Shootback. If it isn't 6/26 or better, this gets a yawn.
2-Snowtrooper--see above.
3-Imperial Cadet--I'm curious what retreat does, and it looks like it stands on a medium, 4.5cm base
4-Battle Droid--Probably the best of the Battle Droids. Evade has proven useful
5-AT-AT Driver--I've never been impressed with Charge.
6-Gamorrean Guard--Finally the Bounty Hunters get a striker. The axe seems short though, and I'm curious how Strikeback will work. It seems weak on this figure, since this is the Bounty Hunter's only striker.
7-Ponda Baba--This is a 10pt figure with a medium 4.5cm base. To my knowledge, this is the first 10pt figure with Recover, and no Bounty Hunter has ever had less than a medium missile. Something is wrong here.
8-Luke Skywalker(Hoth)--30pt leader with Attackback(can we assume multiple since its Luke?) should have a good ratio, and my guess would be that he stands on a large base. I'd expect at least the medium missile, though I'd love to see the Grievous missile here, its freaking Luke with a gun after all.
9-Lando Calrissian--You have to assume the Bounty Hunter symbol is wrong. Sacrifice on a 30pt launcher is ok, not great. I like how appropriate it is though, since Lando did sacrifice Han and Leia in the movie until he betrayed the Empire.
10-Yoda--I don't believe for one second this will either be a ghost or holographic Yoda. Its just a proto, and is proto-colored. Rally is an ok power, but this won't really compare to the Vengence of the original.
11-Dengar--30pts, assume the medium missile, and Rally=Yawn.
12-Zuckuss--looks the same as other capturing Bounty Hunters
13-Red Leader--I love that they made this figure. Can't really comment on Retreat, and I'm not fond of 30pt medium launchers.
14-Plo Koon--Lets see here: 30pt striker with a small base and recruit, sound like crap to me.
15-Qui-Gon Jinn--40pt figure which is expensive, we're not sure what strikeback means. It does have a large base, which is nice. Interesting to see if this gets a Green Lightsaber in its final form.
16-R5-D4--Just love that they made this a Jawa. Impossible to comment.
17-The Emperor--THIS WOULD BE AWESOME IF THEY HAD MOLDED LIGHTNING BOLTS AS A MISSILE! They could use that missile again for figures like Thor and Storm for Marvel. I like Capture on this figure too. I thought they had learned their lesson on 40pt force blasts though.
18-Kit Fisto--A 40pt Force Blast figure with charge, this sounds like the worst figure in series V. Again, I thought they had learned their lesson.

Wow! I like it! It's about time they brought Series Five out, and there's a lot of nice figures out. However, I second everyone's opinions that the re-used body sculpt for Qui-Gon was ridiculous. I've been wanting Hasbro to bring out a Qui-Gon for so long... and now this? And the blue lightsaber... oh, I hope they correct that. Otherwise if I get him I might just give him a new paint job... ;)

It's not a holographic Yoda; it's a Force Ghost Yoda. Yoda appears as a Force Ghost in Ep VI after the Ewok celebration, along with Force Ghost Anakin and Obi-Wan. I don't think the Force Ghost figure should have a lightsaber, either, though, that's a bit ridiculous.

Yes, I've been hoping for this for quite some time. Maybe Hasbro should talk to people on the Attacktix forum to decide what figures to bring out next.

Series five was great, exept there were so many remolds. But I am so happy to finally see Qui-Gon Jinn! And Lando Callrission is awsome too! I just knew a Gommorean guard was coming in series five. And yeah, how can you play with Qui-Gon without Obi-Wan?

Yeah, the remolds are kind of dissappointing. I mean, you could easily make a Qui-Gon by just re-painting the Vader body they did, and adding a head from a 3 3/4 action figure or something. I was hoping for a few more original figures. But I was glad to see Panda Baba and a Luke with a blaster--if only Pando's body didn't so much resemble that of Captain Antilles... Real Attacktix fans want new figures so we can explore how to take them out. We want figures that weigh and are shaped differently than the old figures. We don't want reruns, because we already know how to handle them.

And as for Qui-Gon's blue lightsaber... if they don't correct that, I think I will take a squadron of Clone Troopers to the factory and re-paint all their figures for them! ;)
